The All Aboard Phonics SSP
All Aboard Phonics is our set of systematic synthetic phonics (SSP) materials for use in your classrooms.
Our mission is to lift your results towards 100% success and reduce your stress. We guarantee we can deliver those outcomes for you.
Everything You Need for Implementation is Free
We provide PDFs of each All Aboard Phonics lesson plan manual at no cost. The lesson plan for each day is laid out in an easy, consistent way and the resources needed for each lesson are included in the manual: photocopiable worksheets, flashcards, and end-of-phase assessments. Just email us at email@example.com to request your copy.
You can also purchase high-quality durable hard copies of each resource and optional add-ons on our pricing page.
The curriculum is based on the proven Letters and Sounds design, but is updated and extended into a fully resourced tool for your teachers.
Easy Online Tracking of Progress
Each manual has an assessment process so that you can be sure the whole cohort are progressing together. You can record the performance of each child in your online Learner Management System.
That way you can see where whole class are strong or weak in the content you have shared and you can also instantly see which children might need a boost from our unique intervention processes.
This online tracking process is part of our subscription package.
Free Training Resources
The training processes offered for phonics teaching are often awkward to attend and very expensive. We do not believe that is necessary with modern technology.
Instead, we use a menu of free bite-sized online training sessions, which are convenient for teachers to access and allow consistency to be maintained across the whole team at any time.
On top of those online resources, we are doing regular twilight zoom sessions. You can also pick up the phone to chat with us at any time! You can read more about our training here.
Integrated Intervention Processes
Our particular expertise at All Aboard Learning is how to help those children in each class who find phonics hard. You can see comments from teachers and parents who we have worked with on our Easyread Facebook page. You can also see the independent academic study of our intervention processes here.
In our All Aboard Phonics Plus manual you will have a simple evaluation process to determine what is causing the difficulty for a child. That will then set what the individualised education plan needs to be for that child.
Moving from good to excellent results in literacy is driven by how you help these struggling learners. We can partner with you to aim for 100% success each year.
We offer a complete set of short decodable books for purchase that integrate with the curriculum, week by week. These decodable books are also accessible to parents through our All Aboard home reading app (see below).
Our books have a fresh new set of stories and nonfiction subjects, with beautiful illustrations and images. We have tried to make them entertaining for the adult as well as the learner. Feel free to flip through a few of them on our decodable books page.
We print them with very large text to help the children who have difficulties focusing on small text. That means they can also be used in small group settings as presentation books.
All Aboard Reading App
Our app is designed to make home reading sessions more likely to happen and more successful, by reducing the stress and increasing the fun. Your pupils can play games and complete lessons that reinforce the phonics work you have done in the classroom.
There is also a library of decodable e-books that can be accessed through the app. That elibrary is available on our subscription.
Everything you access through All Aboard Phonics is derived from a deeply researched base of knowledge.
The core curriculum reflects the Letters and Sounds process that has been used by thousands of schools for nearly a decade. The results that are possible with it are well known.
Added to that is our own years of research from our direct work with over 15,000 struggling readers. With each of those children we have taken them from significant difficulty (often 2+ years behind their peers) and guided them through to success, tracking what has worked and not worked in each case. This is a unique data set and you will be accessing all that knowledge through the All Aboard Phonics materials.
